winterizing myself.
I have a pretty good notion of what I need to ride through the winter, however this is going to be my first time through without the Mtn bike and platform pedals.
Does anyone have any good advice for clipless shoes for cold weather?

I will be using my new-ish Sidi's this year with a wicking thin sock, a wool sock on top of that and toasties (booties but just for the toes basically).
If you really want to get crazy, get the Sidi Storm's or similar. Otherwise, just get some booties.

Being your in IL, I'm guessing it gets pretty cold. I ride all winter long and have found a few important things that make the ride better. Wind proof clothing and warm shoes. I run the Lake mountain bike shoes and they handle snow, creeks, etc. and I'm pretty much never cold. For my other gear it's just a mix match of Performance TriFlex stuff, long underwear, and anything wool.
