Are you a winter cyclist!

I ride the frozen ice
As I glide along
I wonder if it notice
My frozen bike
As I glide along
I don't care
My wheels grip
My mental train is clear.
I fly faster down the lake
I float over snow
I ride the bike
In howling wind and brutal cold
I wonder if I'm insane
As I race home
The cold rips at my bones
As snow whips around
It burns my face
The fate of my toes are at stake
I think to stop
I say I will not
I round the turn
My home is in site
It's not about the bike!

I am Winter Cyclist!

Thanks Guys.

naisme, You have written some pretty good stuff yourself. I think your selling yourself short.Just let it flow!

It was nothing that I worked on. I just put my mind into winter mode and it flowed on to a quick response box.
