Are these any good?

i they look nice. Does anyone use these? How good are legwarmers? At what temps are they good for?

Depends on the shape of your legs. They fall down on some people, esp with thinner legs.
Legwarmers are useful for changeable conditions between about 10-15C, and esp for mountains, where the descent can be cold.
If you end up wearing them for the whole ride, you are probably better off and more comfortable in thin leggings worn over shorts.

I used to use them on my daily commutes in a former life.

On cool, damp, foggy mornings they were wonderful, arms and legs.

I had no problem with them falling off.

I'm fine with arm warmers, but I find leg warmers don't seem to last long before the elastic fails to hold them up...

I'm with Richard. Arm warmers are a standard in my drawer, but I can't get leg warmers (full length or knee warmers) to stay up, and no, I don't have chicken legs. :p

I just use knickers.

I like knee and leg warmers, but the Performance brand do not seem to hold up very well and lose their stretch quickly. IMO, spend the extra dough on a name brand when it comes to knee/leg warmers like Sidi, P.I., etc.

I have a pair of Descente (sp?) leg warmers that have lasted well over the years, but I don't think they are made anymore, too bad...

I'm a big warmer fan. Great for warm-up, cooldown, changing weather, etc. I do have Performance leg warmers. They're good and warm, and I don't have a problem with them falling down at all, or loosing their stretch.

I have medium width legs I guess...

I will find out shortly... I ordered them for myself yesterday....
