Bikes: My frame is covered in reflective tape. After adding ridiculously large handlebars, a comfy seat, and enough carrying capacity to haul a Thanksgiving grocery run home, the manufacturer wouldn't recognize it.

Free winter biking workshops in/near Chicago
On Thursday, November 21, 2002, I will be leading a presentation on winter biking. This will be at 7:30pm at the Fox Center on Oak Park Avenue in Oak Park. This is about 4 blocks north of the Blue Line's Oak Park stop. This is during the time of day when bikes are allowed on the El.
On Sunday, November 10, 2002, a Bike Winter class will be conducted in Chicago at the Vittum Theatre 1012 N. Noble (Milwaukee & Noble). (Accessible via #56 Milwaukee bus and 1/4 mile south of the Blue Line Division stop.) The class starts at 3pm. (Bike Winter promotes winter cycling in the Chicago area. and has a variety of events during the winter.)
