Need sizing help for arm/leg warmers

I live in remote Key West (2 cruiser style bike shops) so I do alot of my road bike gear buying online. Lately it's been cold in the morning (upper 40's, lower 50's) I'm looking for some arm and leg warmers online but sizes seem unclear to me. I'm 6'2" 165lb....anyone have any help for me. Companies usually offer L,M,S.....with no clarification as to what these sizes mean in terms of length or girth. Would love to avoid returning products and ordering again.....Thanks

Seems to me if you stick with a brand you know, you order the same size in the warmers. Wear a PI short in size large? Get the same leg warmers. I have noticed (like anything else) tremendous differences in sizing between brands. Case in point: I order leg warmers in Large fro Castelli. They fit my arms. I order some from Ibex in Large. They fit on the roomy side of perfectly. go figure.
