Winter has returned to Calgary!

It was sure nice to see the snow again, I could not do much biking this last week
due to being called out almost every day to morley to help put out forest/grass fires on the reserve

It was sure nice to be off call and able to ride my bike back home!

It's NICE to see the snow??? I'm not thrilled about it ... mid-term break starts this weekend and I really wanted to get some miles in.

the colder weather isn't too great to ride in
but it sure beats running out in the middle of the night to put out grass fires!

That's true ... I was surprised to hear about a grass fire in February.

And after all the warm weather we've been having, this forecast is a bit of a shock to the system:

Tonight
Cloudy periods. Wind north 30 km/h becoming light this evening. Low minus 31. Wind chill minus 27 this evening and minus 35 overnight.
Thursday
Sunny with cloudy periods. 40 percent chance of flurries in the morning. Wind up to 15 km/h. High minus 23. Wind chill minus 35.
Thursday night
A few clouds. Wind up to 15 km/h. Low minus 29. Wind chill minus 38.
