In the high 40's yesterday and 58 today... all but the parking lot piles are gone. I see grass!

Snowstorm hit on Valentine's Day; didn't ride for an entire week. Nearly went crazy! So today, holy crap, it's 49 F and sunny! I got on the bike and rode the 11 miles to work

...and wound up completely covered from head to foot in gray grimey crunchy wet salty road schmutz. And my bike is even worse: It looks like it was dropped into a vat of Portland cement. A total mess. I have half a mind to buy a separate beater/commuter bike *just* so I don't have to go through the inevitable hour or two of cleaning that I know I'm going to have to do tonight.
