socks

i would like to find some socks that are long enough to reach up to the bottom of my knickers....about 2/3 the way up my calf

have plenty of long hiking/fishing socks but they are way to thick...must be thin to fit in my shoes

would like wool and something other than black

any suggestions

These are padded on the bottom and thin on the instep.

Thorlo makes the best socks.

Try the local army/navy surplus store. I've got socks that cover the calf for $6/pr.

Buy some tights. Then you can wear regular length socks.
