Sidi Hydro sizing

Heya,
I usually hang out at the fatboys and girls forum but I'm approaching graduation back to the normal ranks (<200 lbs.), and branching out.

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a pair of Sidi Hydros and wondering about the right size. I currently enjoy a pair of Sidi Ergo2's that fit like gloves at 44.5, with my summer socks.

But I suffer from poor circulation in my feet (probably due to a couple years racing and training as a Cat. 2 in the Northeast many moons ago, before the days of warm feet). So I suspect I'd want to wear a pair of thin sportwool (?) socks and maybe use a thermal sole insert. I'm thinking maybe I need a 46 to still allow the crucial circulation to happen, but I've also heard they run a little big. Or is that too much?

Anyone have 2 they could lend me?

Chuck
