Protecting Leather Saddle from Winter Elements?

    Winter Saddling, tips!

I know about using a plastic bag over the top of a leather saddle and securing it with PVC tape to prevent water damage. In addition I use saddle soap on the saddle to condition the leather, prevent it from drying, unlike using mink oil, one doesn't stick to the seat! Any other tips you guys have regarding this, please let me know!

Will this bike survive the winter?!
Sometimes when I'm out doing a shopping run, I'll be offered a free sample (cut of pizza, doughnut, cheezywiz thingy)...little do they know that behind every bite is my gasoline!

I keep Proofide on my Brooks, and try to cover it if there's going to be precipitation (either with my butt or some sort of cover, plastic bag or Aardvark). They've lived through multiple winters out in the garage, so the temperature doesn't bother them.

    Thanks for the reply!
Aardvark, didn't even know that such a thing existed. I'm so tired of going through plastic bags!

    Another cool item of interest

From now on I may even have some Fred's showing signs of savvy equipment envy!
