Large Platform Pedals
I am using some North Face boots this winter for commuting. Are there "larger-than-normal" platform pedals that would suffice for a winter boot? If not, I guess Power Grips would work instead.

These are cheap and quite wide, used them before. Not quite sure how wide you'd need though.

I use Shimano M324s with Solomon winter boots. Surprisingly, my boots nestle onto the platforms for pretty secure grip. The ridges keep my feet from slipping off, so no need for Powergrips,
Only using winter boots a few days of the year, but any more, and I'd consider using Powergrips.

VP Beartraps for grip and size. somewhat dangerously sharp teeth though

I have a pair of these https://www.universalcycles.com/shopp...&category=1674 on my single speed. They were $22 at the LBS. And I also run these https://www.rivbike.com/product-p/pe1.htm on my LHT. The pins they sell are a must as these pedals can be slippery. Both pedals handle my boots very well, the wellgo pedals are a little wider and the lambda pedals are longer. I was surprised how much I liked the cheaper wellgo pedals...great value.

I use Gusset Pinheads all year round on 2 of my bikes, plenty of platform and grip for all types of shoes. They are plastic with aluminum pins, and pretty cheap. There's a fancier version with clear body and anodized pins/spindle for a few bucks more as well. https://www.universalcycles.com/shopp...s.php?id=32039
