Pearl Izumi Amfib tights

I am 5'8" about 160Lb lady and I'm trying to figure out if the Men's Pearl Izumi Amfib tights might fit me better than the womans. I ordered the woman's Amfib tights in an xlg non- chamois, they are a little too long and the legs are kind of snug, but the waist is a little big. I think the laminated fabric doesn't allow them to stretch as much as other tights. My thighs aren't large and my calves are slim. Has anyone else had this problem? I could get by wearing them if I don't layer which seems silly since these tights are for the colder temps.

I'm 5'8" 160 pounds and wear size medium Pearl Izumi, including the Amfib bib tights. The Amfib doesn't stretch as much as regular tights, but it is only in the front of the tights.

Hmm, I bet your pretty lean? I'm trying to factor in the differences in shape between genders. Pearl doesn't make it easy, their size chart for tights gives hip dimensions for women and waist for men. If you don't mind me asking what size are your waist and hips, thighs? Mid thigh I'm about 21"

My legs are a few inches bigger than yours. I wear size medium pants (but not slim fit) from just about all American clothing brands.

If you have hips and a butt, the tights may not fit well. PI makes women's AmFib tights and thank goodness they aren't pink or have flowers on them.
