Some homemade booties
Had some old wool socks from like 2000 (yeah old) so I decided to make a shoe cover. I was originally just going to put the cover on but I decided to duct tape the shoe underneath this. The duct tape by itself seemed to just peel off.
I do not care much about what happens to this shoe as I only use them in winter or the crappiest of conditions (early spring).
I would like to get some actual covers but I want a pair that zip up on the front like the some actual winter shoes do but I have had not had any luck finding a pair. Even if it's a boot that I can cut the bottom out that would be fine, as long as they're cheap.

I just looked up nikwax a very interesting spray. Would you spray it directly on the booty cover or on the shoe? I suppose I could get the wash in kind and just wash it right into the wool?
