mavic frost

Does anyone else have a pair of mavic frost road shoes that kill your feet?

I use hiking boots about 9 inches tall and big enough for a thick pair of winter socks. I'm not the expensive equipment type of cyclist, but these do really well in the winter.

I got a decent price, but they are worse than an uncomfortable seat and really no warmer than regular road shoes with toe covers and they are very bulky. They are definitely not worth purchasing in my opinion. The right one is fine, but the left shoe digs into my ankle joint and I can only tolerate about 20 miles before the pain is constant. Standing up and peddling is a no go as well, more pain. I was hoping someone had bought a pair of these and could report either the same and a fix or a good review w/o issues.

Not much help here. When it's above 10F I wear Sidi shoes only. I've never found any other shoe cycling shoe that comes even close in fit and performance. They are expensive and worth it. I love mavic wheels but they are sort of a newcomer to the shoe game. Sorry for your troubles. Try on some Sidi's.
