Suggestion for bell with pogies

I love the pogies for my winter bike (flat bars). However, accessing the bell is awkward. I have to pull my hand entirely out of the pogie to ring the bell that is mounted near the stem, then wiggle it back in. Putting the bell inside the pogie either does not fit or muffles the sound. Any ideas? Do bar-end bells work for this?

Not tested but an idea. My pogies are open on both ends. Assuming the bell is on the bar, what about running a string or something from the bell to into the pogie from the end closest to the stem? Tape/ tie the string to the bell, have a ring or something on the other end?

Thanks, I was thinking of something similar - like a "remote control"...

a grip bell I have is like a grip shifter ,, but I cannot hear it when It is under my rain cape..

Air-zounds horn is on the same piece as the button, so not that. ..

Simple piezo buzzer speaker out of a dead desk top, a power source & a button?
