Well it's been in the lower 40s all week and it's getting on into late March. Winter hung in until the very end this year, but I think we may have seen the last of it until next November or so. Now that it's on its way out, I think I'll miss it. So here's my retrospective. Winter, peace out, catch you on the flipside, keep it real, hate the game not the player. It was good while it lasted, now bring on the warm Summer nights downtown at 2am.

Sunday Night
Mostly cloudy. A chance of rain in the evening... then a chance of snow after midnight. Cold with lows in the lower 30s. Chance of precipitation 50 percent.

We'll yearn for this in August....

I will miss it dearly.... I too love my middle of the night rides with no cars around.. I'll miss the clean crisp air as soon as the pollen sets in... and I will dread the heat and humidity that will soon follow the dissapearance of the snow. Seems like spring is too short..

It's been a great winter, cold but not too cold, not too much snow but enough black ice to go around. I am ready to move on. I can smell spring...buds are swelling, grass is greening, love is in the air;-) The one thing that folks in th SW and SE will never understand. Seasonal change. Winter is great but time for a change. Riding in shorts and a T. I'm ready. Oh yeah, I agree with those thoughts on August, a real sucky month.

Nice day yesterday ! I wanted to be riding around Boston (ON A BIKE) !!
I'll be patiently waiting for photos of 2am riders in Boston with shorts and no jacket !!

Yep, rain changing to snow on Saturday. I became a year round cyclist in December, I must say that although this will be the snowiest winter on record (95") it seems to be going by kind of quick.
May is the latest month Cleveland has recorded snowfall. Just to refresh your memory, we had just over two inches of snow in May of 1989!

I made it further into winter this year than in prior years (had to take off January and February), but I hope to ride all winter next year. I'm on the lookout for spring clearance sales of Nokian tires so I'll be ready for the ice come next January.
