The items you list contain beta carotene not vitamin A, beta carotene is converted to vitamin A but your body will never make more then enough therefore its impossible to overdose on vitamin A from natural sources. If you take a supplement pill that's a whole different story.

Vitamins are only toxic when you supplement with pills, people don't overdose from vitamins in plant foods...

I personally think salt is a poison and do not use it at all.
