Get time out of doors. Sunlight deprivation makes the winter doldrums worse than they need to be. The winter Solstice is tough on everyone. Why do think cultures decided to have holidays at such times in the first place ? Take walks and throw the Frisbe around with the family. Little things make them happy, doesn't take much.
