Exactly! That's what I did on one of my bikes in case I ever needed to pump up a tire at a gas station. The Presta thread is and oddball one and you won't find any screws on your bike with that same thread. However, I did find I was able to thread the adapter on to the end of a clamp-on FD cable guide screw, even though the pitch was a bit different.
