Skate styled SPD shoes are easier to find than something more versatile looking (I'm thinking Adidas Sambas here which are fine in casual situations and if done right can also be pulled off in semi-formal situations). An inbetween skate and Adidas shoe would be something like Lake's MX90s.

Also, I can't seem to find them for sale but there seems to be some decently looking Nike Dunk-esque shoes.
