Notes
7 mile commute. Took me about 3-4 miles to get warm, but at 6 miles, I was sweating a bit, though my feet started geting cold at about 5 miles. Getting used to breathing thru my nose so I don't get a wet spot on my balaclava. Snot froze to my mittens! Neoprene gloves have thin rubber palm and otherwise are a mild weather item, but they're snug enuf to tie my shoes with them on, and have made a good base layer under the big Thinsulate mittens.
