Yep, that's my understanding. Just trying to figure out why they stuck an SLX decal on the frame. It's possibly a repaint, so that could account for it. schnee's bike might be a similar case if it's got an SLX decal.
The 1984 catalog implies all Paramounts that year, regardless of size, were SL/SP mix. I suspect the SLX decal was applied during a repaint.
