my dad got me a car battery and installed it:
my mom bought me a wool sweater
and i bought myself 4 sets of base layers from target. the pants are microfleice and very warm. good for 30 and 40degee. it doesn't get colder than that around here. also the longsleeve tops are great. 4 way strech, long arms. great range of montion and movment, same is true for the pants. only thing is that the shirts will stink up after 2 days use. wish i could find some well constructed wool base layers. oh the c9 shirts/pants cost ~18bucks each
