Wow, that's great detail...thanks. Pictures (as is) coming tomorrow (er, today, that is). It's a Simplex RD, but I was guessing a bit newer maybe. The saddle is a plastic "Grand Prix" so I assume the original got lost some time in the last 50 years. Pretty good shape for a 50 year old bike, though...with air in the tires I could have probably ridden it home. One thing that's interesting to me is that in that catalog, it looks like the fork is bent (I'm not kidding, btw). I thought when I had the bike on the roof of my car the fork looked bent, but looking at that catalog picture it looks the same. Maybe it's just an illusion with the frame angles? It's interesting frame geometry...can't wait to take it for a spin!
