Great advice Supcom! There's even a loop just out of the White Rock Lake park that adds 1/4 mile and has a good hill. On the lower side of the park as you circle around the dam, look across the street and see if Jack Johnson cycle shop is still open. Good place to stop and browse after two or three laps of the lake, and before you head back to Richardson. I used to spend late afternoons riding there while in town on business. Always met several fellow riders at the lake and had companionship for each loop. After the ride, the Richardson Bike Mart is always worth a visit.
