The next step I might suggest is to get a good bike fitting. This is overlooked by 99% of casual riders and many serious riders. If you plan to train and/or race seriously, this will help discomfort and injury while maybe improving your performance.

Maybe go to someone familiar with fitting bikes for use on the track. Most races are less than 5 minutes so some things that apply to fitting road bikes (which are used for hours at a time) may be slightly different.
