Yeah, I leave them on. I plan to pull them for races, then when it stops raining like it has been this winter. Arc is only an issue any more if I roof-rack it over 70mph, when the wind re-sets the arc. The fix is a 1/2 second pull up on the front fender, then hit the road, and that lasts until my next roof rack trip. On my Ritchey, I have tons of clearance on rarely hear anything.

I took my Ritchey down to Houston for Christmas and did a group ride. There were some snickers about the steel bike and fenders... then I proceeded to shell half the pack and win all the sprint zones (Minute Maid Park and the tops of parking garages)... The fenders won't slow you down much.

Yeah, I paid $37 with free shipping with Petra, and PBK didn't carry them when I got them. But that $2 has bought me three months of being able to wear white kits in the rain

Petra clearly knows now that these things are in demand, and PBK must be a relatively new entry into the market.

My LBS said Mr. C. will not be importing them to the US in 2010. I brought them by the shop, and they were drooling.
