Ditto. I ride a very short frame (Trek 43cm).

In that size range an 1cm change in seat post height (the measurement the manufactures most often use) can produce up to 5 cm difference in standover height. A 5 to 1 difference!!!

It is a shame but the manufacturers as a group cannot be trusted to measure consistently. Neither, unfortunately can every individual manufacturer within their own line.

You must never buy without actually riding the frame you are purchasing.
