Okay, so maybe a different holder would help; I'll try to find a cage mount one that works.
I'm getting much better about not worrying about small rub marks and blemishes.
Creaky...you are right and I realize this, however, the bike is relatively new and I'm just looking to keep it in the best shape as possible for as long as possible. Sure, I like it to look nice, but I also take good care of all of my things, especially when they are costly, because I want them to last. Yeah, the pump isn't going to rub a hole through the tubing, but I'm just trying to avoid making the rub mark any worse.
