these are harder to find (and about the same price as: read: the equivelent of a full 531 frameset -in a rideable size) than a Campy SR seatpost
+1 on CV-6's comment above. I lurk for the ones in poor condition and take them to my friendly local polishing gnome who buffs them out to shining glory for $10. I can pick up shabby examples on eBay for $10-25.
