What would be more interesting is if the BB is English or Swiss, tapped the wrong way around. The former has happened more then once with some GB builders.

Its British and its was properly tapped at the factory. Some idiot installed the BB backwards during a repack. Surprisingly enough I removed it, cleaned it up, flipped it around and it threaded right in by hand and tightened down without the threads skipping!!!!
