In an effort to replace my rusting Bottecchia (
) I purchased this Trek 2300 from Craigslist for $375.
I'm not sure if it qualifies as vintage. Can you tell me when it was produced (SN suggests 1992)? I assume that "composite" means "carbon fiber."
Was this an entry-level bike? A little above that?
