I agree, although it doesn't look too bad on pcad's Scott. The new Ultegra may be described as the bauhaus version of the older DA 7800, but really it's more the Bizarro Superman version - at least when it comes to looks.

Every time Colorado Cyclist puts their remaining stock of DA 7800C (the carbon clad 7800), I have to talk myself out of buying one. Classic Campy designs aside, it's the pinnacle of crank design and performance.
