I haven't had an official weigh-in at Weight Watchers since 1/26. There was a work emergency two weeks ago, and the instructor came down with the stomach bug thing last week. My drop was 7 pounds to 217.6. This despite the cajun superbown party and the resulting excessive butter consumption.

According to WW, I'm losing too fast and should slow down. I'm not buying it. I'm a 33 y.o 6'2" male and have averaged 3.25 lost per week. Seems okay to me given my bike commuting and random additional workouts. I haven't felt hungry and have good energy - my rides have been stronger and quicker.

On Saturday, I roasted a thawed extra turkey from thanksgiving to eat on all week. I also modified a family stuffing recipe that I think was an improvement in terms of health and taste. Here's the before and after:

before:
1 stick butter
5 cups onion
5 cups celery
2 pounds Jimmy Dean sausage
1 package pepperidge farm herb seasoned stuffing
2 eggs
chicken broth

After:
1/2 stick butter (could probably go down to 2 TB. Need just enough to keep onions from burning to pot while juice is released)
5 cups onion
5 cups celery
2 pounds jennie-o turkey sweet italian sausage
1 package pep. farm herb stuffing
chicken broth
