I wish I had known about the satellite images yesterday. I took a new route to work and found the roads to be different than the map. The road I was on turned into a mountain bike trail! When I looked at the satellite image today, it clearly shows the roads don't connect.
Mapquest, Yahoo Maps and Google Maps all mistakenly show the roads connected. The next time I plan out a new route, I will check the satellite image first.
