Glucosamine-yes/no

I am a bit new to bike riding, and have experienced just a bit of pain in my lower back, and my legs. I expected this as I have been less then fit for some 30+ years. I started riding again less then three months ago.

Recently I started taking glucosamine, and it seems to have relieved most of my back pain, and my legs are also feeling better after a ride. It could be that I am just getting used to riding so the glucosamine may not actually be helping.

Has anyone here noticed benefits from taking glucosamine?

Thanks
Ken
