I haven't posted in quite some time, but my cobalt blue 2006 Speed D7 is STILL going strong. It survived three NYC winters (although I never took it out in the snow). I see that the new Speeds ('09 and '10) arer well over $400 (How much did I spend back in 2007? Like $290, and that inlcuded tax and shipping from brandscycle).
Although I ended up making no modifications, it still rides perfectly and has required only minimal
tune ups. Couldn't be happier.
