Anyone from Kansas training for BAK?
I've done a bunch of cycling and triathlons, but never a bike tour before. If you've done BAK, or some other mid-west bike tours, what advice do you have for a newbie?
I have a Trek 520, so I should probably be fine as far as bikes go. Any advice on what to take/leave behind? Any thing to look forward to/avoid?
