I just wrote an article about the
Preston Ridge trail in far north Dallas with maps and markers that you might find helpful. That trail connects, or will connect to the Cottonwood trail, and the Preston Ridge Trail in Plano. You can also connect to the White Rock Creek trail but you'll need to share a lane for a few blocks. Let me know if I can provide more details.
