Newbie here, first post. I recently got into cycling for some much needed exercise. I bought a Bianchi Pista and set it up as a single speed, sorry fixie guys and gals, it's just not for me right now. I didn't want to spend too much money on a bike and figured a single speed would suit me as a beginner bike as it's much cheaper and simpler for an inexperienced rider.

I'm in the East Bay and work in the Peninsula and am mostly on flat bike trails like the Iron Horse Trail and that bike trail along Ocean beach in SF, to get my feet wet. Taking things one step at a time and trying to stay out of the traffic for now. And to the chagrin of my girlfriend, I seem to be getting myself into yet another potentially expensive hobby - getting "professionally" fitted on my bike tomorrow, and I hope it won't require too many new and expensive parts to get fitted right!
