How to identify your brake pads?
Hi Folks,
I have a Cannondale Adventure 500, and would like to get new brake pads, but have no way of knowing which variety will fit the "Cannondale Expert with cartridge pads" system on my bike. I'm in West Africa, so I'd like to get this right the first time. I've spent about 5 hours searching the net for the answer to this question but to no avail.
The existing pads are 2 and 3/4 in long, or 7cm, black rubber. They slide into a slot and are locked in with a small cotter pin that goes through a groove in the top of the pad.
