Got back from my 30 mile ride late this afternoon, thought i'd mix a long ride with some of the hill work i did during the week (long by my standards anyway)
I think my Speed needs some real work so i might look at doing intervals but to be honest i didnt feel like going fast today. My main concern was doing a longer ride on a new route (25mile last week) and adding in some hills (well "a" Hill) as i did some hill training on wednesday, i was interested in seeing if i could do a bigger hill and a longer ride. I managed it
Anyway aside from speed i think I'm pretty happy with it. I'm quite tired now but i'll be ok for my commute tomorrow i hope. I'm also happy with the heartrate zone!
As usual if anything jumps out at you feel free to let me know. I added a picture of the hill because i kinda got a "ahh sh*t" when i saw it.
P.s. my garmin measured the grade at 13%!! but i think it was closer to 6 or 7%. I don't really know how accurate that feature is on the computer though.
