I have to agree with Robbie, only a little more strongly. I have an Ironman and I have a pair of SKS fenders for my Trek 520. There is no way you are going to get those fenders on that bike. I would suggest you look at fenders that mount on the seat post. If you are planning on doing some bike touring in Ireland, I would suggest you try and find an old rigid mountain bike. There are a bunch out there for under $100. They are pretty easy to convert to touring bikes. Search the touring forum and you will see what can be done.
