I rode 151 miles in about 8hrs last weekend. It's easily doable if you are in the right condition. I'd go out on a weekend and give a century a shot. You might want to check outthe route before you do it. Between Laurel, MD to Richmond, VA there are a lot of hills if I remember correctly. That could slow you down and make the ride mush harder.
