What you are describing, is what I planned. I should have be clearer. I guess I was wondering if it should be returned to original configuration; if it was uncommon or the like.

I anticipate losing 15 lbs with upgrades.....alloy wheels, stem, seat post, etc. I absolutely love the decals; but hate the price of new ones. I was thinking of cleaning them as well as possible, then masking/painting around them. Thoughts?
