Ooops, my bad. I just went into the garage to measure them and my tire is, in fact, 1.75" wide, not 2.0". The fenders are exactly 2" wide and the metal supports are 2.375" at the narrowest place. May be a bit too tight for 2.25" tires, and even if the tires fit, it may not give you the coverage you need.
