Colour bleeding is a very, very rare thing, and if it happens, it tends to happen with cheaper cotton clothes in red or blue. If, for example, you pick up a red cotton T-shirt for $5 from a discount place, there is the possibility that it will turn your white underwear pink if you were to wash the T-shirt with your underwear. But cycling clothes aren't cotton and are usually higher quality than a discount T-shirt, so the chances they will bleed is pretty remote.

As for damage ... a wash machine and dryer should not damage your cycling clothes.
