My new Ride, also my first folder.

Well a week or so ago I pulled the trigger on my first folding bike. I want to thank all of you for the wonderful advice that lead to this decision. As always when buying a bike I almost succumbed to bikelust and at various times was close to buying a Brompton or Tikit.

I (for once) let my common sense over ride my bike lust and bought something sensible for me and my limited wallet.

This is a NOS 2007 KHS westwood. It's an odd design from a folders point of view and I couldn't even find a spec sheet before ordering. My LBS let me have it for $339 and for that I figured I could afford to dislike it, or play with it if I wanted to.

The drive train is 8 speed microshift, decent but I scored a set of 9spd Ultegra to replace it, also order drop bars and bar ends (I hate twist shift).
