Cycling Jersey Fit and Length

I've read bits and pieces in other threads about this, but most of the links and so forth are outdated, so I figured I'd post a new one.

I am having a devil of a time finding a cycling jersey that fits. I prefer a snug fit, but am built like a hockey player rather than a cyclist. I'm 5'10", a fit 190 lbs, 32 inch waist, with a 42 chest. The usual issue is that a medium race cut is too tight in the chest but otherwise fits, and a large race cut flaps around and is too long--maybe even 3-4 inches too long.

I know other folks out there have the same issue. I'm wondering if anyone knows of snug-fitting jerseys that are cut a bit shorter. My large race cut is 26.5 inches from the bottom of the back collar to the bottom of the waist band. So maybe something with a 40-42 chest with a 24 inch back length would be close.
