out here magpies like to attack helmets
Are these the same Genus as Magpies everywhere - black and white, possibly with some blue/green iridescence? The ones that like shiny baubles? I ask because we have tons here in NL, and I have never been attacked by one. Yet.
BTW - I think they are one of the most beautiful birds we have here
